Real Believers Faith Center was founded in 1998 by Apostle Larry & Dr. Sharon Cook with a mighty 8 members, driven by a deep love for people and a commitment to serving the Minneapolis community. Both hold a Ph.D in Pastoral Care from the Minnesota School of Theology. Married since July of 2000, they are the parents of eight children and lead both family and ministry with consistency, care, and truth.

Outside of ministry, Apostle Cook is the founder of World Class Barbershop and Dream Team Beauty Shop, and Dr. Cook is the founder and Artistic Director of Les Jolies Petites School of Dance, where for over 25 years she has poured into young people, teaching confidence, discipline, and self-respect. Together, they are the owners of Lion’s Den Soul Food Café. Through discipleship and innovation, they continue to share their God-given wisdom, encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset rooted in financial literacy and spiritual growth. Much of the congregation has become entrepreneurs and homeowners as a result of their “Golden Arrows” teaching, and marriages and families continue to grow stronger through the example they live out daily.

Apostle Cook has a heart for everyone, with a specific calling to reach men, calling them to lead well in their homes, their faith, and their everyday lives. He is known for his integrity, wisdom, extraordinary revelation of Scripture, and weekly messages that empower believers to succeed in their real lives.

Dr. Sharon Cook serves alongside him as Co-Pastor, an ordained evangelist, and leader of the Cultivator Women’s Ministry. She is known for her unapologetic confidence in her identity, anointing in the Gifts of the Spirit, and uncompromising devotion to righteousness.

Together, Apostle and Dr. Cook are respected for standing up for people without a voice and for living by a principle they often repeat: “Integrity is not for sale.”
